COAST GUARD VIDEO
BOSTON--Tall ships arrived in Boston July 7 & 8 as part of the 2009 Sail Boston event. The city is an official port call of the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge, a five-leg race. The tall ships moored up at several piers, inlcuding the Charlestown Navy Yard and Seaport World Trade Center where the public can visit the ships. The Coast Guard is responsible for coordinating the safety and security of the tall ships and all vessel traffic operating in Boston Harbor during the event. (USCG video by PA1 Matthew Belson).
